Rose Quartz Spa Kit
Rose Quartz Spa Kit
Facial Gua Sha, derived from Traditional Chinese Medicine, is an ancient scraping massage technique that uses tools to facilitate lymphatic drainage in the face and neck in order to reduce puffiness, uplift facial muscles and detoxify the skin. The lymph system works together with the circulation system to increase nutrients and oxygen to the skin cells. Hello, healthy glow!
This ritual, which can take as little as 5 minutes in the evening (once you start though, you'll go longer cause its so soothing!), is my favorite way to take time for myself and care for my largest organ from the outside in. Aside from some serious GLOW factors, don't underestimate the value of the subtle messages you're sending your body and nervous system through pressure points found in the face. When practicing the use of the Gua Sha, you will experience overall health benefits that come with a lymphatic draining massage, promoting the lifting and smoothing of the skin leaving the face radiant after use. The rose quartz crystal has calming properties which help to alleviate anxiety and aid in meditation. Use the jade roller in the morning to help with puffiness and penetration of serums.
HOW TO USE:
Step 1: Cleanse and prep skin with face oil. Step 2: Keep the tool flat against your skin and begin with the neck. Glide from under the jaw to the collarbone. Repeat 3x on both sides of the throat. Step 3: Move to the jawline and use the end of the gua sha tool with the two curves. Start from the chin and glide up until the ear. Gently massage the gua sha tool into the ear to release tension. (A little wiggle motion) Repeat 3x. Step 4: Move to the cheeks and glide in an outwards motion starting from the crease of the nose until the ear. Step 5: Under-eye area, gently glide the gua sha tool from the inner corner of the eye outwards to the temple. Step 6: On the forehead, glide from the brow bone up to the hairline doing a little wiggle with the stone at the hairline. Finish by gliding down both sides of the face and ending at the collarbone.
